| THIRD DAY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING COMPETITION FOR THE 2010 WORLD FLOORBALL
The municipality of El Escorial has hosted the third day of competition at the World Floorball Champioship Qualification 2010. Today's schedule began with the match between national teams from Georgia and Italy.
Italy, after drawing in yesterday against Slovakia is virtually assured his leadership of the group. However, that cross and Estonia or miss whether or not it will depend on the goal average with Slovakia. | EL ESCORIAL READY TO START
Everything in El Escorial is ready for the Championship. Teams, volunteers, organizers... everybody is looking forward for the first match. Team Spain has been training for three days and preparing the Championship to get a one of the spots. Team Italy and Team Liechtenstein arrived yesterday and today they are having their first tanning session. Today at 19.00 Italy and Spain will play a friendship-training match. Team Netherlands is also arriving today and they will come directly to the Sports Hall. The rest of the delegations are expected for tomorrow.

| Slovakia & Spain also aiming for WFC Final in WFCQ Eur 2
Slovakia (ranked 21st), Spain (ranked 22nd) Liechtenstein (ranked 27th) and Georgia (ranked 29th) will challenge the favourites in the WFC tournament in Spain. Slovakia has played some good international matches since the last WFC C-division and might have a very good chance of qualifying to the Final round. More info.

| Estonia and Italy favourites in the WFC Qualification Europe 2
Estonia is currently the 8th ranked team in the world and together with Italy (ranked 10th) they can be considered as the favourites to qualify to the WFC Final round. Slovenia has the 3rd highest ranking (18th) and the Netherlands is ranked 19th. More info.

| Men´s WFC Qualification rosters & qualifying system
The World Championships Qualification tournaments are played in four regional tournaments in the beginning of February (3rd - 7th). Now the team lists for the Qualification tournaments have been added to the IFF statistical program and the rosters can be found from their links. A total of eight teams will qualify to the WFC Final round played the in December 2010 according to the following:
- 2 teams from European Q1: Winners of the Qualification Finals 1 and 2 are qualified
- 2 teams from European Q2: Winners of the Qualification Finals 3 and 4 are qualified
- 3 teams from Asian & Oceanian Q: Three best teams of the AOFC Qualification are qualified
- 1 team from American Q: Winner of the American Qualification is qualified

IFF has sent information about the tournament and help your preparations:
- The IFF Event Guidelines for participating teams containing important information and deadlines for the tournament
- Lists of team delegation (excel-file) - shall be filled and sent:
- The First list (maximum 30 players & 10 officials) shall be sent in not later than 4.1.2010 (both signed version and Excel-file)
- The Final list (maximum 20 players & 7 officials from the first list) shall be sent in not later than 13.1.2010 (only Excel-file)

| Countdown for the Championship.
Some works have been done in the arena in order to offer the best for
the teams. The Council has done an important efford to have things
ready on time. New changing rooms have been finished, and some more
small works have been done in the outside of the arena.
The organizers have opnened an inscription form for volunteers and are
getting a big success.
The IFF Referee Committee has appointed the following referee pairs
and following observers to the Men’s World Floorball Championships
Qualifications Europe 2, to be played in Spain 3rd-6th of February
2010.

Qualifications: Estonia, Italy, The Netherlands and Liechtenstein have

There´s no news from Slovakia and Slovenia.

| 2010 World Floorball Championships Groups
The ballot for the WFC 2010 Final round groups was organised during the U19 World Championships in Turku, Finland. The ballot decided in which groups the qualified teams shall play in the Men’s World Floorball Championships organised in Finland in December 2010. Read more. |

| Men´s WFC 2010 Qualification schedules
The schedules for Qualifications to Men´s World Floorball Championships 2010 are fixed. The qualifications will be played regionally in four different tournaments from 3rd to 6th of February 2010. The 8th Men´s World Championships will be played in December 2010 in Finland. Read more.
